Cross-Connections LLC is a family-run backflow testing and compliance business serving Loveland, Fort Collins, and communities throughout Northern Colorado.
Our family’s work in backflow testing began in the mid-1990s, when Jimmy Norris started testing backflow prevention assemblies after retiring from Poudre Fire Authority under the business NoCo Backflow. Now 91, Jimmy still accompanies us in the field for select tests, continuing the hands-on tradition that started the business.
After years of serving local customers, Jimmy handed the business down to his son, Chester “Chet” Norris. Chet continues that work today, bringing years of field experience, practical knowledge, and long-standing customer relationships.
Now, Christian Norris works alongside Chet, helping carry the business into its next generation with a focus on dependable service, organized records, clear communication, and modern compliance support.
Cross-Connections LLC provides backflow prevention testing, repair support, documentation, and filing assistance for homeowners, HOAs, property managers, commercial properties, irrigation systems, and multi-site accounts.
We help customers stay compliant with annual backflow testing requirements and submit reports to the correct water provider or reporting system when required.
Our services include:
Annual backflow prevention testing
Irrigation backflow testing
Commercial and residential testing
HOA and property management support
Repair, troubleshooting, and retesting
Water purveyor filing assistance
Test records and documentation
Difficult-access and confined-space work is reviewed by the job
Backflow testing is not just paperwork. It protects the public drinking water system and helps property owners stay compliant with local water provider requirements.
We believe customers deserve a tester who shows up, communicates clearly, explains problems as they arise, and helps get the report filed correctly. Whether you have one residential irrigation assembly or multiple commercial devices across several properties, our goal is to make the process straightforward.
Cross-Connections LLC is based in Northern Colorado and understands that different cities, districts, and water providers may have different reporting requirements. If you received a backflow notice, we can help identify the provider, due date, and next step.
If a device fails, we will explain what we found and help determine whether a repair, rebuild, replacement, or retest is needed.
Need a backflow test, repair follow-up, or help with a compliance notice?
Please send us the property information, and we will follow up with scheduling, pricing, and next steps.
